Competition Hunter Privacy Policy

Information you provide to us:
When you register with Competition Hunter, you are asked to provide a username, email address, and password. Your username is your identifier on the site, and as such will be displayed on your profile page when you perform certain actions, for example: commenting. Your email address and password will not be visible to anyone on the site. You have the option in your profile settings, to provide further information, including (but not limited to): your name, occupation, location and url. This information will be publicly displayed on your profile page, and by doing this you accept any risk or consequence related or indirectly related to having your personal information publicly available on the site.
Our use of that information:
The information you provide to us will never be passed on or sold to a third party. We do not engage in regular emails out to our users, or newsletters, but may very occasionally email our users with announcements related to Competition Hunter. These emails are rare - it is highly likely you've never received an email from us. Regarding individual users, and issues pertaining to use of the site, technical problems or queries, you may be emailed privately.
We reserve the right to pass on any user information to relevant authorities and law enforcement in the event of any illegal activity.
Notifications/verification:
The site currently does not notify you via email of actions, nor ask for an email verification upon sign up. You may in the future be emailed with notifications of actions, dependant on future features of the site, or email verification to confirm your email address. You will have the option to opt-out of any notifications we send you.
