NHS Tees is urging everyone to protect themselves from the sun with at least factor 15 as skin cancer rates in the UK have quadrupled over the last 30 years.
When it comes to skin cancer everyone is at risk but people need to take extra care if they have any of the following: fair skin, fair or red hair, light eyes, lots of moles or freckles, a history of sunburn or family history of skin cancer.
